Ordination of Deacon Engr. Amgad Fahmy

On November 3rd, 2018, H.G. Bishop Karas ordained Engr. Amgad Fahmy as a priest for St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church of Lancaster, PA, and named him Father Moussa.

We congratulate Father Moussa on his ordination. He will always be remembered in our hearts as he leaves to begin his ministry. He stood to us as a beloved deacon, one who was strong in his service to Christ in St. Mary Coptic Church of Delaware.

Liturgy of the Feast of Nirouz (New Coptic Year)

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Happy New Coptic Year to you and your family.

God willing, tomorrow, Tuesday Sept. 11th., 7:00-9:15 A.M., our church will celebrate the liturgy of the beginning of a new Coptic year. It is time to offer repentance and start a fresh page leaving sins and increasing in virtues. It is also time to remember the martyrs and focus on eternal life. Hope you all could come and take the blessings. May God richly bless you with many returns in intimate relationship with Him. This will replace the usual Wednesday liturgy.

Sincerely yours,
Fr. Mina
